Congratulations, Betsy Johns!

News, Press Release

A message from Jim Foley, NRP’s CEO and co-founder,

In case you have not heard the news, my long time friend and awesome business partner, Betsy Johns has decided to “call it a career” and retire.I will forever consider myself beyond fortunate to have met someone like Betsy. She is the full package…brilliant, funny, motivated, honest, caring, generous, graceful and beautiful inside and out.What did Betsy’s resume look like? Here are just a few highlights;

  • One of the first two female graduates from the College of the Holy Cross
  • One of the first female managers at Arthur Anderson (a “Big Eight” Accounting firm)
  • Frequent guest speaker on “Your Community, Your Call”
  • CAI Instructor
  • Multiple CAI award winner
  • CAI Hall of Fame Inductee
  • Member of the Board of Directors for Main Street Bank
  • Started her own Community Association Management company in 1982…before CAI existed!!

I’m sure there are more accolades I could name!Betsy has been a phenomenal business partner, as well. We saw “eye to eye” on almost every decision we had to make over the years. And, when we disagreed, one of us would always give in because whatever the issue was we knew the other person felt more strongly about it.And, we never once had an argument…not once.Betsy Johns, you are one of a kind!!We’re going to miss Betsy around here. You are much loved and greatly admired by our entire team…you will be missed
