Due to the winter storm approaching National Realty Partners’ office will be closing early today, 1/8/18 so our staff can get home safely. If you have any property or life-threatening emergencies while we are closed, please call our after-hours emergency services line, 703-476-3639 Emergencies will be addressed as soon as possible and in the order of severity.

NRP’s Holiday Hours 2017

National Realty Partners’ will be closing at 1PM on Friday, December 22nd and will
re-open on Tuesday, December 26th.

The office will also be closing at 1PM on Friday, December 29th and will re-open on Tuesday, January 2nd in observance of the New Year.

It’s that time of year again! NRP’s 2017 Holiday Party was full of fun and holiday cheer as our team gathered together to celebrate and reflect on the successes of the past year. Below are a couple of pictures from the event—unfortunately we somehow managed to not get any footage of those dancing the Macarena, that will change next year! We wish you and your family a very happy holiday as well as a safe and joyous New Year!

NRP Gives Back 2017

NRP Gives Back 2017 is here once again!

Our Values and Beliefs play a significant role in who we are as a company. Fostering a charitable mindset and giving back to our community is one of our core values. This 2017 holiday season we are pleased to partner with Brightpaths (formerly Our Daily Bread) and Toys for Tots. We will be accepting donations (both monetary and unwrapped gifts) and non-perishable food throughout the months of November and December.

Brightpaths: NRP has adopted three Fairfax County families for Thanksgiving. Any canned or boxed food donations will be greatly appreciated. All donations must be received by November 17th for distribution.

Toys for Tots: A collection box has been placed in the front lobby of NRP’s main office for those who would like to donate unwrapped toys for children throughout the U.S. The box will be displayed until December 8th.

Big Steps for Tiny Feet- March for Babies 2017!

Team NRP took big steps for tiny feet by successfully completing the March of Dimes (March for Babies) walk which took place on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Reston Town Center. It was a perfect day to walk and support this extremely vital organization. Our team raised $600.00 towards the cause and overall the event raised $440,000!

Lili Martinez, CMCA, AMS named Director of Management Services for NRP

Attracting, hiring and training quality associates are the three most important responsibilities of any Team Leader. Having the honor of promoting from within is validation of a Team Leaders’ job well done.

As a Team leader myself, I’ve often expressed to my associates that the best personnel referrals come from existing Team members. My justification and support for this belief is simply; good associates don’t want to refer sub-par performers and it creates a sense of pride when they can take part in the selection of a Team Member.

Well, seven years ago Lili Martinez was referred to us by one of our associates. She was hired as an administrative assistant (actually, she was NRP’s very first AA) in December 2010. Since that time, Lili has proven to be a thoughtful, dependable, knowledgeable, energetic and passionate Team Member. She is truly the consummate professional.

Since 2010, Lili quickly moved up in the ranks becoming our Admin Supervisor and later added the role of Architectural Services Department Manager. For the last several years Lili has incorporated those two roles, and added additional responsibilities as NRP’s Main Office Manager.

As of today, in her new role as NRP’s Director of Management Operations, Lili will oversee all administrative and management operations as they relate to the support of our Portfolio Management Team.

April Meza, CMCA, AMS, PCAM named NRP’s Director of Association Management

I know we’ve all had “pearls of wisdom” bestowed upon us by parents, friends or other significant people in our lives. Two of my personal favorites were given to me by my Dad. If he said it once, he said it a 1,000 times; “Jim, always surround yourself with people that are at least as good as you are, preferably better.” And then there was, “Jim, there is nothing more important than your reputation, it’s the only thing you’ll ever truly own.”

Well, those two gems have proven to be valuable beyond measure for me. I have been extremely fortunate to work with and become friends with some of the most thoughtful, engaged, giving and intelligent people throughout my career. April Meza is one of those people. Since I met her eight years ago, I have watched her grow as a person and as a professional. She is extraordinarily knowledgeable in the areas of association governance, fiscal management, construction, personnel management and contract management. In addition, she has proven to be a quiet leader as she consistently sets the example for other Team Members to follow.

As of today, I am very pleased to announce April has been promoted to NRP’s Director of Association Management. April’s duties will include the supervision of NRP’s Team of Portfolio Managers and all administrative duties and functions related directly to the management of NRP’s portfolio of Common Interest Communities.
